Abstract submission for the ISSFIT-14 (7-9 July 2021) has been extended to April 24th
ISSFIT-14 ONLINE is welcoming abstract submissions for contributions of the following format:
Oral presentations will be given as live 15 minute talks on a Webex web conferencing platform, followed by 5 minutes for Q&A.
Oral presentations will be grouped into sessions, moderated by chairpersons. Live presentations are strongly encouraged. Alternatively, a pre-recorded presentation can be given, but the presenter is still requested to be present during the respective session for the Q&A discussion.
Detailed technical guidelines for oral presenters and participants will be given in advance to ensure a smooth conference experience.
Accepted poster presenters are invited to prepare a contribution as a two-part e-poster, including a one-page graphical poster and a short video presentation (2–3 minutes). Both content types should be uploaded by June 25th. Uploading instructions will follow soon.
The two-part e-poster should include:
1. A graphical poster presentation
- File format: .pdf
- Size limitation: single page
- Poster size: landscape, widescreen (16:9), 33.867 cm x 19.05 cm
2. A 2–3 minute video presentation
- File format: .avi, .mp4 or .mov
- Size limitation: 2–3 minutes, video resolution no higher than 1080p (Full HD)
- Content: The video can be a narrated presentation, possibly with a video of the presenting author, or any other type of video content.
Both e-poster content types and the submitted abstract will be available on the conference web page one week before the conference (from June 30th) for individual viewing.
Video presentations will be played in e-poster sessions in Webex. Groups of 4–6 posters will be topically arranged into 20–30 minute sessions that will start with video viewing, followed by a moderated Q&A discussion with presenters and participants.
Detailed technical guidelines for e-poster presenters and participants will be given in advance to ensure a smooth conference experience.
